The best views from sunrise to sunset belong to The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. Built overlooking the Potomac River and with sights into Arlington, Virginia, this location is second to none for those perfect summer sunsets or colorful fall foliage.
2. Baltimore Inner Harbor. Baltimore, Maryland.
The city to the north of Washington, DC is not to be forgotten as it has its own charm and beauty that provides beautiful backdrops and grand cityscapes for couples. Baltimore is home to the popular and must see locations such as the Domino Sugars sign in Federal Hill, Druid Hill Park and Cylburn Arboretum.
3. Old Town Alexandria. Alexandria, Virginia.
The iconic cobblestone streets of Old Town Alexandria are of the most recognizable locations in all of Virginia for engagement sessions. Also bordering the Potomac River, you are steps away from green grass picnics and water side champagne brunch which always add a little sparkle to your photos.
4. Georgetown Waterfront. Washington, DC
Georgetown is well known for its cupcakes and shopping district but its equally as popular a destination for engagements. With its diverse mix of imagery, the cobblestone alley flow into the waterfront park’s walking path. Continue your walk underneath the over pass and up a few concrete steps and you’ll find yourself over looking the water and Key Bridge.
5. Locations That Are Unique To You. Everywhere and Anywhere, USA.
No two couples are exactly alike and no two love stories are identical. Locations as unique as you always will be a top recommendation. Book stores, beaches or even your kitchen where you both share your love for burying pasta in shredded cheese. Being yourselves makes for the absolute best engagement session.
6. The National Mall. Washington, DC.
A list of top spots in Washington, DC for an engagement session would not be complete if it didn’t mention the heart of the city and the nation! The National Mall, home of the popular Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson memorials. The accompanying Tidal Basin and Washington Monument draw thousands of couples a year looking to capture that perfect engagement and wedding image.
