September Evening Caboose Farm Wedding Day

THIS WEDDING HAD TAYLOR SWIFT! Wait… Let me rephrase that… This wedding PLAYED Taylor Swift and a lot of it and it was incredible. The dance floor was essentially just a car jam session with your best friends who sing and feel every lyric from Taylor’s “Love Story”. The wedding cake was also incredible. I sat down with the baker (who just happened to be related to the bride) just to say it was delicious. AND the venue gave me a golf cart to drive around and I drove it kind of fast (but not furious) and we also chased a sunset with it. The bridesmaids told me I did a great job and although I always think I do a great job, having some positive reinforcement will make anyone smile. It was one of those weddings where you sit in the car and although your feet might kind of hurt, you think “that was awesome”.

Alyssa and Jacob were cool and calm like a mountain breeze all day. Throughout the wedding planning process, they were very easy to work with knew exactly what they wanted for their day and communicated early and often with me. Their biggest priority was spending quality time with their guests and having as much fun as possible.

Their day at Caboose Farm in Sabillasville, Maryland, flowed very easily and flawlessly and ironically, I kept thinking there was no way we were actually on schedule. Being so on schedule allowed the couple to do everything they wanted which included a first look, portraits before and after the ceremony, family portraits, attending their cocktail hour and even a few cigar photographs Jacob wanted.

The reception at the end of the night was a masterpiece of planning and relaxation as every wedding should be. The timeline we put together was so thorough and efficient, wedding day was essentially stress free and theres nothing more freeing than listening to some Taylor Swift with your friends and a good drink in your hand.

A lot of great people came together to make Jacob and Alyssa’s wedding day perfect. The wedding venue coordinators and planners at Caboose Farm are fantastic. The makeup artist and I chatted very early in the wedding planning to make sure we had our timing lined up correctly. Catering and music catered to the crowd and vibe with ease. It was a wedding day built perfectly from the ground up. A big thank you to the wedding team and especially to the new Mr. and Mrs. It was a night to remember!
