Hi, I’m J! I am based in Washington, DC but travel anywhere for weddings, packed dance floors and red velvet cake.
I am an engagement and wedding photographer for couples who are bold, beautiful and fearless. I photograph love in its most authentic, wild and joyous moments.
I believe your wedding photographer is more than someone with a camera, I believe they are a trusted advisor to you on one of your most monumental days.
I began photographing weddings in 2015 and have since photographed weddings across the country. When I first began photography, I had nothing more than a simple $100 camera and overflowing curiosity. I taught myself the art of photography and still continue my pursuit of being a better photographer everyday.
I believe in creating vivid, timeless images for fearless couples in their bravest moments of love. I believe everyone has the capacity to love and to be loved regardless of their similarities or differences. I also believe there is always space for dessert, especially on wedding day.
Wedding photography to me is about creating something bigger and longer lasting than myself. Its about remembering things as they were even as time passes. I’m glad that you found me, wherever you are and I hope I get to create something special for you and your partner forever.
